Okay, so my husband does not eat salad but I do! If you are lucky enough to both enjoy salad be sure to go organic wear it counts! Organic tomatoes are a must! The taste better, are a rich red color, and no nasty pesticides. I try and buy all of my vegetables locally or organic. When it comes to fruit I have a new hobby of picking them myself at local U-Pick farms (organic strawberries are a must here! Strawberries carry the most amount of bacteria and nasty pesticides). In my favorite salad I add lettuce (whatever is on sale), organic tomatoes, organic sprouts, avocados from Mexico, organic garlic dressing, and low fat cottage cheese.

How to get your husband to eat vegetables. Tip #1 Introduce Vegetables in Small Quantities
It took me almost 5 years of being married to convince my husband to at least try spinach. Tip #1 says introduce vegetables in small quantities. As you can see, hubby's meal is on the left: angle hair pasta with creamy alfredo sauce, grilled shrimp scampi, and spinach cooked in extra virgin olive oil and garlic. I dish a portion to equal about 2 tastes, while my plate on the right has about 1 cup.
